Day 1
Flight Sofia - Frankfurt - Bogotá.
Transfer and check in at the hotel.
Day 2
Breakfast. A panoramic tour of Bogotá, including the Barrio de Candelaria area, the oldest neighborhood in the city, the Museum of Gold with more than 53,000 exhibits, the central Plaza de Bolívar, the Palace of Justice, the Parliament, the Presidency, Bogotá City Hall, the Cathedral of Primada and the Capilla del Sagrario Church. Visit the Botero Museum and Casa de la Moneda. Free program in Bogotá. Overnight.
Day 3
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Neiva. Transfer and tourist program in the Tatacoa Desert including the Santa Barbara Chapel and the Paleontological Museum in the town of Villiavieha, visit to the most famous areas of the desert - Cardón, Cusco (red sector), Los Hoyos (grey sector), the OBASTA astronomical observatory and a walk through the labyrinths of Cusco. Return to Neiva. Check in at the hotel and dinner.
Day 4
Breakfast. Transfer to San Agustin passing through the areas of Hobo, famous for its regional cuisine, Garzón, known as the "capital of the diocese", the artisan town of La Jagua, birthplace of the Colombian sugar cane Altamira, the first Spanish settlement of Timana. Arrival in San Agustín and full-day tour of the Archaeological Park, known for the largest group of religious monuments and megalithic sculptures in South America, and the San Agustín Archaeological Museum. Check in and dinner at the hotel.
Day 5
After breakfast, visit two UNESCO World Parks
historical heritage: Alto de los Idolos and Alto de las Piedras, where you can
Observe the various sculptures and memorial plaques testifying to a sacred land and place of pilgrimage. Visit the Colombian Massif, the Mortino Falls and the Salto de Bardones. Return to the hotel, dinner and overnight.
Day 6
After breakfast, transfer to the airport in Neiva and fly to Cartagena, the most visited resort in Colombia, located on the Caribbean coast. Transfer and check in at the hotel. Option to stroll along the coastal boulevard and old center of Colombia's most charming city, filled with churches, monuments and colonial-style buildings. Overnight.
Day 7
Breakfast. Tourist program including the historic center of the colonial era, the modern residential neighborhoods of Bocagrande and Castillogrande, the majestic fortress of San Felipe built by the Spanish colonizers on a small hill, one of the most beautiful and safest bays of America - Cartagena Bay, the Manga neighborhood built in the early 20th century. The program continues with a visit to the Candelaria Monastery, located on one of the highest hills in the city of Cerro de la Popa. Free time.
Day 8
Breakfast. Depart for a tour of the Rosario Archipelago, consisting of 27 islands in total. Cruise aboard a speedboat among the islands of the archipelago. The tour continues with an accosting on one of the islands, a traditional Colombian lunch and free time to sunbathe on one of the most beautiful stretches of sand on the Caribbean coast. Optionally, visit the Aquarium of San Martin de Payarales, known for its rich variety of marine species and dolphin program. At the end of the day, return to the hotel.
Day 9
Free time for beach, water sports, walking or shopping in the old town of Cartagena.
Day 10
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Tayrona National Park, renowned for its wildlife, home to hundreds of rare plant and animal species and one of the most scenic coastlines in all of Latin America. Accommodation in luxury eco-lodges.
Day 11
Free time to sunbathe and stroll through the rainforest of Tairona Park.
Day 12
Breakfast. Transfer to Santa Marta airport and flight to Bogotá.
Flight Bogotá - Frankfurt - Sofia.
