PROGRAM
Day 1
07:40 - 09:40 Flight Istanbul - Tel Aviv on Turkish Airlines. Visit
St. George the Victorious. Tourist tour of the old town of Jaffa: the artists' quarter, the old port, the clock tower. Tour of Tel Aviv: Rothschild Avenue, the Museum, Kikar Namedina Square. Possibility to walk along the beach. Check in at the hotel.
Overnight.
Day 2
Breakfast. Full day tour to Jerusalem and Bethlehem.
Visit the Old City of Jerusalem, the Wailing Wall and Mount Zion. Passage along the Way of Suffering, pilgrimage to the Holy Sepulchre. Travel to Bethlehem, visit the Basilica of the Nativity in the Garden of Gethsemane. Return to Tel Aviv.
Overnight.
Day 3
Transfer to the airport. Flight Tel Aviv - Amman on Royal Jordanian airline.
Full-day sightseeing program with lunch included: visit to the Umm Qais fortification overlooking the Golan Heights, the Sea of Galilee and the Jordan Valley, the settlement of Ajloun and its fortress, Jerash - one of the best preserved Greco-Roman cities in the Middle East. Return to Amman and dinner at the hotel.
Day 4
Breakfast. Sightseeing tour of Amman, including a visit to the Citadel, the Roman
Theatre, Umayyad Palace. Free time for walking, market in the old part of the city. Visit the Christian city of Madaba-city of mosaics and Mount Nebo. Transfer to the Dead Sea. Check in at the hotel.
Overnight.
Day 5
Breakfast. Departure for Wadi Mujib valley and Kerak castle. Overnight in Petra.
Day 6
Breakfast. Visit to the ancient Nabataean capital, horseback riding (optional), hiking the Sikh narrows, entering the 'pink city' of Petra, viewing the royal
tomb. Overnight in Petra.
Day 7
Breakfast. Visit to Beida, also known as little Petra, jeep tour through the Wadi Rum desert. Transfer to the port city of Aqaba.
Overnight.
Day 8
Breakfast. Transfer to the airport.
