PROGRAM

Day 1
Lunch flight Sofia-Geneva. At 16:00 departure to Ton, which is 56 km from Geneva airport. Ton is a pretty mountain town nestled among high alpine ridges. Here, life moves at a slow pace during the week and the biggest event is the Saturday market where meat producers offer their own cheeses, sausages and jams. Overnight check in to a hotel in the Ton area and free time for rest and dinner.

Day 2
Breakfast and departure to Annecy. The town is located in the north of the lake of the same name, and is known as the "Pearl of the French Alps". The lakeside boulevard offers picturesque views of the lake and the surrounding alpine slopes. The town's architecture will transport you to a fairy tale of medieval France, with the most famous buildings being the Château de l'il and the Château Annecy. The town is the administrative centre of the region and is one of the best places to live in France.
In the afternoon, depart for Albertville, capital of the 1992 Olympic Games. The city was founded in 1836 by King Charles Albert on the site of the old Cité Médiévale de Conflans, of which the city walls remain. Today, Albertville is known as the "Centre of Arts and History" and you will see this for yourself as you stroll past the many workshops, art galleries and studios that line the central streets. We will also visit the old town, which is an architectural monument and is situated on a hill, on the other side of the river Arles. In the evening check in at the hotel and overnight.

Day 3
Breakfast. Depart for the world-famous ski resort of Courchevel, part of the largest connected ski area in the world - the Three Valleys. The resort unites five alpine villages at five different altitudes: Le Pas, St. Bon, Courchevel 1550, Courchevel 1650 and Courchevel 1850. There, high-end restaurants, luxury shops, palatial hotels and chalets coexist with chalets, farms, small village churches and the homes of the locals. You'll also see the highest operational airport in the French Alps, which sits at over 2000m above sea level. Weather permitting, we'll take two cable cars up to the 2,738m Saulire Peak, which separates the Courchevel Valley from the Meribel Valley and from which you'll have a striking view of the Three Valleys.

Day 4
Breakfast. Depart for Meribel, another world-famous mountain resort, popular for its gorgeous panoramas and the comfort of its wooden chalets and huts nestled among tall pines. Meribel is situated on two levels with an altitude of 1450 m and 1750 m. The resort combines tradition and modern style, which you will find both in the exterior of the town and in the interior of the cozy restaurants, huts, studios and shops. At midday we will descend into the valley that connects the French Alps with Italy and then head to the resort of Val Thorens, which is situated at 2300m above sea level. On the way we will stop for lunch in St Martin Belleville, a charming mountain village in the middle of the valley surrounded by mountain peaks.

Day 5
Breakfast and departure to Megeve - world famous mountain resort. The road passes through picturesque mountain towns surrounded by the green slopes of the Alps. The soft mountain hills dotted with neat chalets, farms and churches inspire a sense of peace and harmony. Stroll through the central part of Megève, which abounds with traditional restaurants, pastry shops, shops, ateliers and other places to entertain tourists. You will be able to enjoy a cold drink in one of the picturesque squares. The resort is also known for its many fine dining establishments and wine tastings.

Day 6
Breakfast and departure to the train station in Chamonix, from where we will travel by attraction train to the Mer du Glass glacier. The journey lasts about 20 minutes, during which you will enjoy mountain streams, pine forests, tunnels carved into the rocks and amazing landscapes. The last stop is at an altitude of 1,913 m, from where you have an impressive view of the glacier stretching like a frozen sea. After a short cable car ride, you will have the opportunity to get as close as possible to its glaciers. One of the main attractions there is the ice cave, which we will visit. In the afternoon, stroll in the central part of Chamonix - the town square, the cathedral, the town hall, the pedestrian and shopping area. Return to the hotel for dinner.

Day 7
Breakfast. The program for the day includes a cable car ride that reaches the summit of Aegy du Midi (3842 m), which is located at the foot of Mont Blanc, the highest peak in Europe. What makes the cable car ride unique is the fact that in a matter of minutes you will rise from about 1000 m to over 3800 m above sea level. From the glass platform located at the top, you have views of the surrounding valleys and the Chamonix to the north and the highest mountain range in Europe to the south. There is a gift shop and a restaurant. In the afternoon, travel on the Tramway du Mont-Blanc, France's most famous high-altitude railway route, starting from the town of La Fayette, passing through the resort of St Gervais and reaching 2,380m at the foot of Mont Blanc. Departure in the evening for the town of Anemas, located on the Swiss border.

Day 8
Breakfast, check out of the hotel and drive to Geneva - 10 km from Annemasse. The Swiss capital abounds in museums and is the centre of the most famous international centres - the Red Cross and the United Nations.
