PROGRAM

Day 1
Flights Sofia - Brussels - Carcassonne. Trasnsfer to Narbonne, which was the first Roman colony outside Italy, founded in 118 BC. The Via Domitia, the first Pima road in Gaul and connecting the Italian lands and the Spanish colonies, passes through it.
Accommodation on board the motorboat. Possibility of an evening stroll around Narbonne and dinner at one of the many restaurants along the canal.
Overnight.

Day 2
In the morning - briefing and sailing to the village of Salel d'Od, which according to the local tourist center will charm you with its historical heritage and festive atmosphere. Pass through the first few locks along the canal. In the afternoon, arrive in Capestan, a picturesque village impressive for its medieval architecture and the specific buildings around the collegiate church dating back to the 14th century, as well as around the castle that was once the second residence of the Archbishop of Narbonne. Free time to relax and explore Capestan. Overnight.

Day 3
In the morning - departure to Beziers. During the cruise you will pass through the famous Fonceran Lock, built by Pierre-Paul Riquet in the 17th century. The Fonceran is a stepped series of locks, consisting of 8 ovoid lock chambers with 9 doors, allowing vessels to overcome the 25m of drift. You will have the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful architecture of Béziers, where the Saint-Nazaire Cathedral stands out, as well as to stroll in the central part of the second most important city on the Canal du Midi, dotted with trees, shops and cafes, as well as abounding in street art such as living statues, similar to the Ramblas in Barcelona. Beziers is located in the heart of one of the most attractive areas for tourists and is mostly known for 2 things: wine and bullfighting. Free time in Beziers. Overnight.

Day 4
Departure to Villeneuve-les-Beziers, where we will make a roadside stop for a walk around the central part of the village. The sailing then continues to Agde, today a Mediterranean resort in the South of France and one of the oldest French towns, founded in 525 BC. It is located around the mouth of the River Hérault in the Languedoc-Roussillon region, 8 km from the Mediterranean Sea. Free time for a stroll in the central part of the town and dinner in one of the many restaurants along the river. Overnight.

Day 5 
In the morning - sail to Colombier, where you will have the opportunity to stroll around the town and visit the most famous historical attraction - the Church of St. Sylvester. Next is the La Malpa tunnel, near which you can walk to a hill that offers a beautiful view of the drained Lake Montadi with drainage canals resembling the shape of a star. In the evening arrive in picturesque Poal and free time to wander around the village and visit the local winery. Overnight.

Day 6
In the morning, sail to the medieval village of Paraza, which is typical of the Minervois area. It will charm you with the variety of colourful houses along the coast, the lovely château which is located on the grounds of a medieval castle and the many flowers. A visit to the château and the opportunity to taste. The final destination for the day is Rubia. Free time to wander around the village and visit the beautiful parish church or relax by the river. Overnight.

Day 7 
Depart for the town of Ventenac, approaching which you will have the opportunity to enjoy a majestic view of the towering castle, as well as taste the wine produced from the vineyards along the canal. The cruise continues to Le Somay, a village famous throughout France for its ivy-clad houses. Afternoon arrival in Narbonne. Free time and overnight.

Day 8 
Check out of the boat and transfer to Carcassonne. Flight to Charleroi, Brussels. Check in at the airport and free time. Overnight.

Day 9
After breakfast, check-out of the hotel and flight to Sofia.

IMPORTANT!!! The tour is very suitable for tourists wishing to get acquainted with the specialties of the local cuisine. There is no catering included on board the speedboat, but there is a well-equipped kitchen and fridge and whoever wishes can buy food and drinks from places along the route. In addition, the towns visited enjoy an abundance of quality restaurants serving dishes typical of the region and of French cuisine.
