PROGRAM

Day 1
Flight Sofia - Paris/Amsterdam.
Flight Paris/Amsterdam-Havana.
Arrival in Havana. Transfer airport - hotel in Varadero. Check in at the hotel/apartment.

Beach and free program in Varadero. Varadero is one of the most famous resorts in the Caribbean known for its white sands, crystal clear waters and good hotels. During your stay there, you can take a boat trip to remote tropical islands, swim with the dolphins, snorkel or dive, practice water sports and many more different experiences the resort has to offer.

Day 4
Breakfast. Departure to the port town of Cienfuegos. Passage through the Bay of Pigs known as the place where the coup attempt organized by Cuban emigrants with the help of the American government was foiled. Visit to a crocodile farm in Boca de Guam, an opportunity to get up close with the crocodiles and watch them feed. Visit an ethnographic complex showing the way the tribes lived before the arrival of Europeans. Arrive in Cienfuegos famous for its beautiful architecture and a walking tour of the main shopping street and town square. Possibility of dinner at the Palacio del Valle Castle on the Punta Gorda peninsula. Overnight at the hotel/apartment.

Day 5
Breakfast. Visit the Botanical Garden of Cienfuegos, with one of the largest collections in Latin America. Departure for Trinidad. Walking tour of Trinidad, famous for its colorful buildings and the cheerful disposition of the locals . Visit the city museum and the traditional Canchanchara bar. Free time. Optional evening visit to a typical Cuban restaurant with live music - entertainment is guaranteed and dancing often extends to the city streets and continues until the early hours. Overnight at the hotel/apartment.

Day 6
Breakfast. Departure to Santa Clara, Remedios and Cayo Santa Maria.
Visit Santa Clara, the city associated with the revolution and the assassination organized by Che Guevara that ended Batista's pro-American regime. The town is home to a mausoleum containing the remains of the revolutionaries who staged the attack, a bronze statue of Che Guevara, and an eternal flame lit by Fidel Castro himself in 1977. Next, depart for Cayo Santa Maria, one of Cuba's most exotic seaside resorts, located on a coral island connected by a bridge to the mainland. The island, like the rest of the archipelago, is part of the UNESCO-listed Buenavista Biosphere Reserve.
Accommodation, dinner and overnight in a hotel in Cayo Santa Maria or lodging in town. Accommodation in Remedios, located on the main island.

Day 7
Beach and free program in Cayo Santa Maria - time to relax or take part in the additional adventures that the area offers - boat/yacht trips through the unique nature of the islands, diving, fishing, water sports, etc.

Day 8
Breakfast. Departure to Havana. Arrive in Havana in the early afternoon and check in to your hotel/apartment. The city is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and has much to offer visitors. Next, visit a cigar factory - you will have the opportunity to observe, up close, the different stages in the production of the iconic Cuban cigars. In the late afternoon, take a lighthouse carriage ride through the old part of town, distinguished by its typical colonial architecture, narrow streets, churches and cathedrals, numerous restaurants and unique atmosphere. Overnight at the hotel/apartment.

Day 9
Breakfast. Walk along the waterfront Malecon Avenue, a popular meeting and resting place for locals. Visit the diplomatic district of Mirador and the residential Vedado - neighborhoods shaped during the city's more recent history, famous for the many beautiful and well-preserved mansions, government offices and large hotels located near the ocean. Visit the Plaza of the Revolution, where the 142-meter monument to the Cuban hero José Martí is located. The square is also known as the place where Fidel Castro delivered his speeches. Return to the colonial part of the city and stop at Bar Floridita, Hemingway's favorite bar and the place with the best daiquiris in Havana, which we will have the opportunity to taste.
In the evening, visit the famous show at Tropicana Cabaret. The show dates back to 1939 and over the years has gained a reputation as one of the best shows in the entire world. Overnight.

Day 10
Breakfast. Free time in Havana or optional visit to Hemingway's villa located outside Havana. Evening transfer hotel - airport.
Flight Havana - Paris/Amsterdam.

Day 11
Arrive in Paris/Amsterdam and check in for the night at a hotel near the airport.
Walk in the central part of the city.

Day 12
Flight Paris/Amsterdam - Sofia.

Programme

Day 8
Breakfast. Departure from the hotel/apartment. Visit to the steam locomotive exhibition, sugar museum and the Obdulio Morales cane mills. After a short rest stop with mojito in hand the journey continues to Camagüey. Arrive in the late afternoon. Camagüey is the third largest city in Cuba and its historic center is one of the largest and best preserved and is dotted with landmarks. Evening stroll through Plaza Agramonte. Overnight at your hotel/apartment in Camagüey.

Day 9
Breakfast. Departure to Bayamo, one of the oldest cities in Cuba, founded by Diego Velázquez. Visit the national shrine of El Cobre in Sierra Maestra (cathedral located on the road to Santiago de Cuba). Check in and overnight at the hotel/apartment in Santiago de Cuba. Cuba's second largest city can offer a very good insight into both the country's more recent history and events that took place at the time Europeans first set foot on these lands.

Day 10
Breakfast. Visit to the Moncada Barracks, whose attack gave birth to the Cuban Revolution. Walking tour of the city, including a visit to the House of Velázquez, El Moro Castle and the Pirate Museum, as well as the Castillo de San Pedro de la Roca, a fortress built to protect the city from the raids of the Caribbean pirates who plied these waters. Overnight.

Day 11
Breakfast. Flight Santiago de Cuba - Havana. Program and two nights in Cuba according to the main program and landing back in Sofia on 06 December.
