PROGRAM
Day 1
Flight Sofia - Amsterdam - Lima. Arrival in Lima. Transfer to the hotel and check in. Sightseeing tour of Lima: Plaza Mayor, Government Palace, Cathedral, Archbishop's Palace and City Hall, the 17th century Convent Church of San Francisco, the San Isido neighborhood , visit to the Huaca Hualamarca Pyramid and the Miraflores Love Park, where you can see the Pacific Ocean. Overnight in Lima.
Day 2
Breakfast. Transfer to the airport and flight. Arrival in Cusco - the city is the capital of the Incas and is part of the UNESCO World Heritage List. Tourist program in Cusco and surroundings: visit to the Temple of the Sun (Koricancha), Plaza de Armas and the Cathedral, the Inca fortress of Saschasahuman, the underground cave and temple of Kenko and Tambomachau - known as the Inca baths. Overnight in Cusco.
Day 3
Breakfast. Transfer to the train station and departure to Machu Picchu. Travel by train through the Andes Mountains, which offer views of the canyon and the Sacred Valley. Arrival at the Aguas Galientes stop. Transfer by bus to the top of the mountain and Machu Picchu, the Lost City of the Incas located at 2,430 m altitude. Tourist program. Return to Cusco by train. Transfer and check in at the hotel. Overnight in Cusco.
Day 4
Breakfast. Transfer to the airport. Flight Cusco - Lima - Iguazu. Transfer to hotel and overnight. Possibility to attend an evening folklore show combining the cultures of Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay, the three countries whose borders meet in Iguazú.
Day 5
Breakfast. Full day tour of the waterfalls on the Brazilian and Argentine side - visiting both national parks, allows to observe the waterfalls both from close proximity reaching them through jungle trails, and from observation points where you can enjoy panoramic views of the falls. Optional motorboat ride to the base of the largest waterfall, Devil's Throat. Overnight in Iguazu.
Day 6
Breakfast. Transfer to the airport. Flight Iguazu - Rio de Janeiro. Transfer to hotel and check in. Walk along Copacabana beach. Overnight in Rio de Janeiro.
Day 7
Breakfast. Sightseeing tour of Rio de Janeiro - visit the Sugar Loaf Hill, the historical and financial center of Rio, the highest cathedral in South America, the Maracana Stadium, the Butafogo and Flamengo neighborhoods. In the afternoon, visit the head office of H. Stern, the largest gemstone company in South America.
Day 8
Breakfast. Hiking program - visit to the Corcovado Mountain, on top of which the world famous statue of Christ is erected, with included ticket for the cog railway to the top of the mountain. Next a trip to the Laguna and the famous beaches of San Pepino, Ipanema and Le Blon. Overnight in Rio de Janeiro.
Day 9
Free time. Transfer to the airport. Flight Rio de Janeiro - Paris.
Day 10
Flight Paris-Sofia
