PROGRAM
Day 1
Flight Sofia - Moscow.
Flight Moscow - Tashkent
Day 2
Early morning arrival in Tashkent. Transfer to the hotel and early
Accommodation.
Breakfast. Tourist tour of Tashkent including a visit to
Historical Museum of Uzbekistan, metro and lunch in a traditional restaurant.
Afternoon transfer to the airport for your flight to Urgench.
Arrival in Urgench and transfer to Khiva.
Dinner in a traditional restaurant
Dinner and overnight in Khiva.
Day 3
Breakfast. Full day city tour around Ichang Hala fortress with lunch included in
local restaurant.
Dinner and overnight in Khiva.
Day 4
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer by bus to the border town of Dashoguz. After
crossing the border departure to the interior of the desert
Karakoram and a visit to the gas crater Dervesse, also called "The Gate of
hell." Dervesse is a crater about 60 m. wide and 20 m. deep and
was formed as a result of collapse during geological exploration for
availability of natural gas. In the evening departure to Ashgabat. Transfer and
hotel accommodation.
Dinner and overnight in Ashgabat.
Day 5
Breakfast. Full day sightseeing tour of Ashgabat including
visit to Independence Park and the Neutrality Arch, the pylon
of Ashgabat, the Ertugul Ghazi mosque, the Turkmenbashi mausoleum,
the archaeological excavations of Nisa, located outside Ashgabat, the largest
Indoor Ferris wheel and the National Museum of Turkmenistan. Lunch in
local restaurant.
Transfer to the hotel.
Dinner and overnight in Ashgabat.
Day 6
Breakfast. Transfer to the airport for flight to Marie.
Arrive in Mari and take a full day sightseeing tour of the ancient city of Merv, including the fortresses of Erk Kale - the center of ancient Merv, Sultan Kale and Bayramali Kale, the mausoleums of Sultan Sanjar and Ibn Zeid.
Lunch at a local restaurant.
Dinner and overnight in Mari.
Day 7
Breakfast.
Departure to Turkmenabat located near the border crossing with Uzbekistan - Farab.
Lunch at a local restaurant in Farab before crossing the border.
Cross the border and transfer to Bukhara
Check in at a hotel in Bukhara and dinner at a traditional restaurant. Night in Bukhara
Day 8
Breakfast. Full day tour of Bukhara including visits to the Chashmai Aib Museum, the Poi Kalyan complex and the covered markets. Lunch at a local restaurant.
Dinner and overnight in Bukhara
Day 9
Breakfast. Half-day tour of Bukhara with a visit to the summer residence of Sitorai Mohi Khosa. Lunch in a traditional restaurant.
15:55 Departure to Samarkand by the fast train "Afrosiab"
17:25 Arrival in Samarkand and wine tasting at the Khovrenko Museum. Dinner at a traditional restaurant
Overnight.
Day 10
Breakfast.
Half-day sightseeing tour of Samarkand including visits to Shaki Zinda Necropolis and Ulugbek Observatory, Registan Square and Bibi Khanam Mosque.
Transfer to the train station and departure to Tashkent by the fast train "Afrosiab".
Arrival in Tashkent. Transfer to the hotel.
Dinner and overnight.
Day 11
Breakfast. Full day tour of Tashkent with visits to the Hazrat Imam complex, Barakhan Madrasah, Amir Temur Square, Timurid History Museum, Kukeldash Madrasah, local Chorsu Bit-Market. Late in the evening transfer to the airport for the flight Tashkent - Moscow.
Day 12
Flight Tashkent - Moscow. Flight Moscow - Sofia.
